Today’s the day. We set off to visit Nana & Grandpa in Northumberland.
We set off at 11am, with the car fully packed. Had ‘Lola’ the satnav at the ready and we were off – Only 433 miles to go!
Sarchie soon settled in his crate in the rear of the car and he was off to sleep in no time. He was excellent all the way. We stopped off at Strencham Services, near Gloucester for a pee stop, around 1pm, then again at about 5pm. We finally filled up with fuel at Newcastle, when Sarchie went No 1 & 2′s!. Then we arrived at Nana’s and Grandpa’s at 7.30pm. A long journey, but Sarchie was brilliant all the way and was no trouble at all.
He settled into Nana’s and Grandpa’s without any problems and following a mad 5 mins of running around, he eventually led in front of his favourite spot….in front the fire and chewed his strip. We moved his bed into the hall way outside the bedrooms and he was as quiet as can be. Hardly a wimper.
Woke up at 3 for a pee, then again in the morning and that was it. I think he is going to enjoy his holiday at Christmas.
