The North Face Gotham Jacket

North Face is not only renowned for its protective outdoor hiking and waterproof gear.

But did you know it also produces stylish clothing that is ideal for more fashionable locations!

What Does This Mean For You:

As you walk down a high street you do not need to walk too far before you see The North Face Logo.

It is a very popular brand on the mountain slopes, ski slopes and high street.

Of course there are a lot of other popular brands too, but I am a fairly recent convert to The North Face Clothing.

Although my main experience of North Face has been primarily with their outdoor protective gear for the mountains, I am definitely branching out and diversifying!

North Face have created a lot of designs especially produced for Men, Women and Children for less hostile locations than the cold and wintry mountain slopes, which are more fitting to places such as the high street, a night out, or a stroll along the beach on a cold day!

A fine example of a great men’s parka-style jacket is from The North Face Gotham Jacket.  The minute you see this jacket it automatically oozes its purpose, which is of course to look good, and keep you toasty and warm.

I know that the faux fur trim will not be suited to everyone’s taste, although it is a design feature of the parka style.  But do not be put off by this because the faux fur trim is removable!

It also features an impressive insulation system of 550 fill goose down, and although it will keep you toasty and warm, it is not bulky, and states it has an ‘impressive warmth to weight ratio’.

So if you are considering a new jacket which is both stylish and will stand up to the elements of our winters, then you may just want to keep this one in mind.
