I’ve scrapped the maps! Tired of crumpled maps and wobbly compasses, I decided to invest in the state-of-the-art Active 10 Plus. I’m not one for gadgets but I was growing increasingly envious of a fellow walking friend sharing all his favourite routes with people online that I just had to get one for myself. And aren’t I glad I did! Not only have I sourced a load of great new routes – (some of which are just on my doorstep which I never knew about!) I’ve also saved valuable time on the trails since I never get lost. The GPS technology is ultra-sensitive so it never gives me a duff reading and the multi-media POIs are outstanding. Since it’s both waterproof and shockproof, I can take it anywhere whatever the climate and be confident that it’s rugged enough to withstand it all. Satmap Active 10 Plus Recommendation:
WOW…….. this Satmap Active 10 Plus is a great piece of equipment, and I think I may well invest in one for our adventures out with Sarchie as we go all over the country with no end of maps and equipment! But I also like the fact that you can plan, track and share your routes, and it has rapid zoom capabilities and clear, concise graphics and audio. We are definitely not fair weather walkers so the Satmap Active 10 Plus being entirely waterproof and shockproof is a great added bonus too!
